Review: Stewie’s Domination Serum

Taste- Just like TNT, Rockstar, Red Bull, and anything else that has that rotten sour apple taste. I’m really starting to get pissed off at the un-originality of these companies. But don’t get me wrong, I did like how it tasted.

Buzz- Didn’t feel shit.

Can- Hilarious can, that’s why I bought it: To put it in my can collection. At the top it says You Will Obey. And who doesn’t love Stewie?

Overall- 2.5 Stars

New “Cure” For Hangovers: Energy Drinks!

Energy drinks may provide relief after overindulging in alcohol. The salt and caffeine contained in energy drinks replenish lost fluids, potentially lessening the hangover effect.

Energy drinks such as Red Bull, Monster and Full Throttle provide enough salt and caffeine to replenish some lost fluids and ease symptoms. In one Red Bull alone, there are 290 mg of salt and about 80 mg of caffeine. Moving up the scale to a drink such as Bawls–the effects lessen as the salt and caffeine level grow.

Review: Amp Overdrive

Taste- If you mixed Moutain Dew with cherry flavoring, this is what you’d get. Great.

Buzz- OK. Not well, I must say.

Can-  Sweetass can, still lovin’ the logo. Needless to say, the background rocks.

Overall Rating- 3.5 stars

Review: TNT

Taste- You might as well buy a Red Bull, this is the exact clone of it in taste.

Buzz-  Good buzz for its size. Lasts a moderate amount of time.

Can- Even though its plain, the company made it seem as though its a blasting cap. Also, the logo’s cool with a luring subtitle, “Liquid Dynamite”.

Overall Rating- 3.5 stars

Review: Full Throttle Fury

Taste- Basically, its orange Fanta in a different can. Much different than the original Full Throttle. Not that great in my opinion.

Buzz- Same buzz as Full Throttle original (look at Full Throttle review). Nothing “fury” about it.

Can- Great looking can, the redness sticks out which I like a lot.

Overall Rating- 3.5 stars

Review: Amp

Taste- Just like Mountain Dew, but has an extra kick (because its made by MOUNTAIN DEW). Great taste.

Buzz- Not that great. It leaves a nice buzz for the first 10 minutes, but then its gone.

Can- Awesome can, because of the logo and nice green background.

Overall Rating- 3 stars

How to Not Crash After Energy Drinks

Most of us have experienced a caffeine “crash” after having  an energy drink. Here are some ways to help get rid of the crash:

1. Before drinking the beverage, make sure to have some food (preferably carbs) in you. That way, you have something to burn before and after the energy drink.

2. Sip the drink in small doses, slowly. Therefore you aren’t digesting it all at once.

3. Drink water after finishing the energy drink. It will ‘wash down’, making less of an effect (this is true for alcohol, too).
